The plaza is covered by albero (sand). ![]() The kiosks of in the centre of the plaza with palm trees for decoration. This gives the Alameda a kind of beach atmosphere, which is one reason for it’s popularity during the summer months. ![]() In between the kiosks is the area for the botellón of the young crowd. The drinks, ice and mixers are bought in small stores and consumed here instead of a bar. ![]() At the northern edge of the Alameda are two well known bars. ![]() La Habanilla. ![]() Café Central.
