Seville Airport is conveniently located, 10 kilometres from central Seville. There are few scheduled international flights. Cheap charter flights to Seville are scarce. At times more economical flights can be found by arriving to Jerez de la Frontera and Málaga, and then taking the bus or train to Seville.

Bus and Tram

Regional Buses
Travelling by bus tends to be cheaper than by train. Access/services to various cities is more available (for example: 10 buses a day to Málaga). There are two bus stations in Seville, each providing services to separate cities:
· Estación de Autobuses Plaza de Armas | Tel: 954 908 040
· Estación de Autobuses Prado de San Sebastián | Tel: 954 417 111

Prado de San Sebastián provides bus services to cities of Andalusia, whereas Plaza de Armas connects with Rest of Spain and the Province of Huelva.

Local Buses
Orange or Red painted city buses are the predominant public transportation. The bus routes are linear (point to point), circular (ring around the city) and special (connecting to the airport, parks, etc.). The following prices are effective for the year 2009:

One-way-ticket: 1,20 Euro
Voucher 10 trips (Bonobus): 6 Euros
Voucher 10 trips with transfer (Bonobus con transbordo): 7 Euros
Tourist pass (1 day): 4,50 Euros
Tourist pass (3 days): 8,50 Euros
Monthly pass: 30 Euros

The circular and special routes are generally of more interest to visitors:

   C1 / C2 bus line
The C1 and C2 bus line circles the outlying neighborhoods of Seville and most stops are further from the historic center. This is a Circular Exterior bus route, and stops are more convenient to the newer neighborhoods in the city. This bus stops close to the Santa Justa train station, Prado de San Sebastian regional bus station and the Tram. The C1 and C2 bus routes are the same, with the only difference being the direction: C1 runs clockwise on the map, while C2 runs counter-clockwise on the map.

C3 / C4 bus line
The C3 and C4 bus line circles just outside of the old town, with stops along the main entry points to the historic center as well as Triana. This is a Circular Interior bus route, and stops are more convenient to the historic city center. The bus stops close to the Plaza de Armas regional bus station. The C3 and C4 bus routes are the same, with the only difference being the direction: C3 runs clockwise on the map, while C4 runs counter-clockwise on the map.

C5 bus line
The C5 bus line circles within the old town, with stops at many of the major monuments and the central shopping district.  This is a smaller, “mini-bus” which is very convenient for reaching different points of tourist interest within the historic center such as the Cathedral, Plaza de Toros, Fine Arts Museum and Macarena Church. The C5 runs clockwise on the map.

EA (Airport bus line)
The EA bus line connects Seville’s San Pablo Airport with the city center. The bus stops close to the Santa Justa train station, the Prado de San Sebastian regional bus station and the Tram stop adjacent to the Prado. The closest stop to the city center is Avda. Del Cid. From this stop one can walk 2 – 3 minutes and take the Tram further into the city center.

Taxi

If not in peak-hours during the main fiestas, you can get a taxi very fast. Wait for one with the green light on and wave your hand. The price is around 5 Euros from north to south of the city center.
For travelers with extraluggage or disabilities, we recommend Eurotaxi.

· Radio-Taxi | Tel: 954 580 000

Rental Car

We generally do not recommend renting a car during your visit to Seville if staying for several days. It is generally best to rent a car beginning the day of departure from the city to avoid parking fees and navigating through the city center. Past guests have recommended the Carjet service.
If possible book in advance as the local rental prices are relatively high, and holidays or other events can limit availability.
