Hotel Don Pedro is located in a typical Sevillian house within the Santa
Catalina quarter of Seville, in the center of Seville. The hotel, inaugurated
in 2001, has been family owned and operated since the beginning. The former
18th century residence was renovated to include 22 guest rooms distributed
over three floors. All rooms have windows to the patios or the street in
front of the hotel. The Hotel Don Pedro also feature two impressive common
areas: a large covered patio with marble floors which serves as the central
guest lounge, as well as a typical Andalusian outdoor patio complete with
plants and a fountain. The Hotel's location in Santa Catalina provides visitors with easy access to the Plaza Alfalfa and shopping district, with the Barrio Santa Cruz and major monuments about 10 minutes away. The building has a long history, having once been part of a monastery, the living quarters for the Civil Guard and a private residence. The construction features artisan plasterwork, cermaic tiles, marble floors and wooden beams, all typical of historic Sevillian style homes. |
Five of the guest rooms on the top floor have private terraces with views of the surrounding neighborhood. The remaining rooms have exterior windows or face the interior courtyards. Room decoration is simple and classic: wood furniture, marble floors and simple wall prints. All rooms have a full, private bath, air conditioning, heating and television. Each room has been named after a famous monument or sight in the city.

Hotel Don Pedro is in one of our favorite neighborhoods - Santa Catalina. This section of the city is always full of life, centered around the Plaza de los Terceros, its many tapas bars and small shops. This neighborhood is known for it's unique mix of a traditional neighborhood that is accustomed to welcoming tourists. Within less than one minute's walk you'll find three restaurants which we can highly recommend: Restaurante Jano, Luis Barceló and Seville's oldest tavern: El Rinconcillo. The hotel's indoor and outdoor patio with fountain are typical of the historic houses in the center. Family owned and operated, the hotel staff is always attentive to the little details. Free hot drinks (coffee, tea and hot chocolate) are available to guests 24 hours a day, and the hotel now offers free intrnet access (WiFi) or computers with internet access free for guest use. Our favorite rooms are on the top floor with generous sized private terraces. |
