HOTEL DOÑA LOLA
SURROUNDINGS OF THE HOTEL DOÑA LOLA
The Hotel Doña Lola is located in the center of Seville between the Alameda
and the main shopping streets of Cuna, Tetuan and Sierpes.
About 30 meters from the hotel we find the San Andrés
church.
On the other side of the church is Plaza San Andrés and Bar Santa Marta, a good place
for tapas or a meal.
With just a 2 minute walk we find Plaza del Duque. To the left behind
the trees is El Corte Inglés, a department store with a large
supermarket on the bottom floor. The store stays open all day, from 10:00 to 22:00.
A booth in the market in the Plaza del Duque. Several days a week local
artisans and craftsmen sell clothing, bags, jewelry and art in the plaza.
Turning around we find La Campana, where calles Tetuan and Sierpes begin,
the two principal shopping streets in the commercial district.
Looking to the left we see La Camapana, Sevilla's most famous and oldest
destination for pastries, sweets and coffee.
Nearby is also Plaza Encarnación and a local market selling
fruits, vegetables, fish, meats and more.
From the back of Plaza Encarnación we walk for another 5 minutes,
following calle Regina to calle Feria where every Thursday morning an antiques market is held.
