View of a Semana Santa procession from the balcony of the first floor Feria apartments. La Macarena leaves in the night of Thursday and returns 10 hours later, on Friday afternoon.




The float of the Christ is approaching.




It shows the scene of the Christ in front of Herodes, accompanied by Roman soldiers.




La Macarena is one of the most famous and largest procession of the Semana Santa in Seville. There are several thousand participants. One of the highlights is the Centuria Romana, a musica band dressed as Roman soldiers.




The second float of the procession is the Virgen.
